Fundraising
Being the FABO President, I oversee the finances of the organization. One way we raise money is through fundraising! This year we collaborated with the brand PuraVida. PuraVida is an ethically made jewelry brand that provides working waged jobs to artisans around the world. We worked with them to design a simple bracelets design that shows off our school colors and bison pride! With these bracelets we marketed the, to students, faculty, and other bison fans, to ultimately sell them to raise money for our organization. We did this by social media marketing, tabeling on campus, and by word of mouth. Doing this, members gained experience in marketing, sales, and communication.
Community Volunteering
Part of FABO's mission is to volunteer and give back to the community. During my time in the as a student I volunteered at the YWCA Women’s center, Fargo Fashion Week, Red Brick Boutique, Boo at NDSU, and the Arc Attic Treasures thrift store!
